David John Backmann (aka Mr Joe) is another expat who has many social and drinking problems and lives a life of fantasy,
What he portrays on his videos is not what his life is like in reality.
Through the wonders of video and heavy editing, he portrays a life that he could only wish for.
Last known he was living in Barangay Punong, Minlabac, Camerines Del Sur. (was in Vietnam)
His videos are sometimes rude and crude, mostly trying to put down other expats just to get views and not many videos have any content that is useful.
He has had various attemps to get additional income from YouTube, but has always failed to gain the required 1000 subscribers. In otherwords he is a loser.
He also feaures girls whos age is questionable as videos below will show.
One scam was to raise $5000 for an emergency operation which we do not believe actually happened, So what happened to the $5000 ?
Another is the bogus raffle for a new cell phone.
Mr Joe we invite you to respond and tell us, Did you or did you not have the operation.

When asked to prove what he was saying, this was his reply
“This is YouTube you fools… I don’t have to prove anything to anybody.. I guess you fools never saw all my videos of my months long recent hospitalizations. I laugh at you all…. prove I don’t have it and prove I scam money… because if u can’t (and I know u can’t, it’s all slander! Where are the “Raw Facts?”
